Refund Policy
This policy explains when refunds are available for Rework subscriptions, how to request one, and the limited circumstances in which refunds are not granted.
This Refund Policy ("Policy") describes the terms under which Rework Technologies Inc. ("Rework," "we," "us," or "our") provides refunds for subscriptions, add-ons, and other paid services on the Rework platform, including our website, dashboard, AI agent, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By subscribing to or purchasing any paid plan, you agree to the terms set out below.
This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. 7-Day Free Trial
All new accounts include a 7-day free trial of the plan they sign up for. You will not be charged during the trial period, and no credit card is required to start. If you do not subscribe to a paid plan before the trial ends, your account will move to a limited free state and you will not be billed.
2. Monthly and Annual Subscriptions
2.1 Monthly plans
Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance on the same date each month. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be billed again.
We do not provide prorated refunds for partially used months on monthly plans.
2.2 Annual plans
Annual subscriptions are billed in advance for the full 12-month term. If you cancel an annual plan, your access continues until the end of the paid term, and we do not refund the unused portion, except as described in Section 3.
2.3 Add-ons and overages
One-time add-ons, message credit top-ups, and overage charges are non-refundable once consumed. Unused message credits do not roll over after a plan downgrade or cancellation.
3. First-Time Subscriber Refunds
If you are a first-time paying customer and you are not satisfied with the Platform, you may request a full refund of your first paid month within 7 days of the initial charge. This guarantee applies once per customer and only to the first paid month on your account.
To qualify:
- The request must be submitted within 7 days of the first paid charge.
- Your account must be in good standing and not in violation of our Terms of Service.
- The refund covers the base subscription fee only. Add-ons, taxes already remitted, and third-party charges (e.g., payment-gateway fees) are excluded where they are non-recoverable.
4. When Refunds Are Not Provided
Outside of the first-time guarantee in Section 3, refunds are generally not provided in the following cases:
- You did not cancel before your renewal date.
- You used the Platform during the billing period but did not achieve the business outcomes you expected.
- Your account was suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service, including unauthorized use, abuse, fraud, or breaches of Meta's Platform Terms.
- Downtime, service interruptions, or feature changes that do not constitute a material failure of the Platform under your subscription agreement.
- Loss of access to a Connected Account caused by Meta (e.g., a Facebook Page or Instagram account being restricted, banned, or losing eligibility for the Messenger / Instagram Messaging APIs).
5. Service Credits for Outages
For documented, sustained Platform outages affecting paid customers, we may, at our discretion, issue service credits that apply to future invoices instead of cash refunds. Service credits are non-transferable and have no monetary value outside of your Rework account. Customers on Business plans with an explicit SLA receive credits as set out in that SLA.
6. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge directly with your bank or card network without first contacting us, your account may be suspended pending resolution. We ask that you contact our support team before initiating a chargeback so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account and include:
- Your account email and business name.
- The invoice number or date of the charge.
- A short description of the reason for the request.
We aim to respond to refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 7-14 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
8. Taxes
Where refunds are issued, applicable taxes will be refunded only to the extent they are recoverable by Rework from the relevant tax authority. Non-recoverable taxes and third-party processing fees may be deducted from the refunded amount.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
